Behind Mr Wretch 32
This talented individual has been my friend from when my hair was natural and I was not addicted to the creamy crack (Hair Relaxer).The best way to describe Wretch 32 is a outgoing, inspirational individual who in my opinion is lyrically a intellect of metaphors and flows. Jermaine is also a great actor and is Funny as hell (If you ever interview him ask him about the Eurosocket pronounced Ur-ro-zock- it. My favorite subject at school and college was English Language and literature, To see Wretch 32 bring alive words and metaphors, Similes, Onomatopoeia's the way he does is just beyond me. Wretch 32 is literally a wordsmith, the Modern day Shakespeare. I find myself listening and taking in his words rather than hearing the beat, Wretch 32 could do spoken word poetry and take us all on a personal journey - I could go on for days about his use of word play that if only most had the appreciation of the 'English language' like I do would know exactly what I mean and identify with his 'CERTIFIED' genius.
Wretch 32 is not new to the 'Underground' music scene and has been grafting for a very long time. After a lot of hard work he has managed to secure a label deal and his music is reaching the 'overground' masses. For me to hear his music being played on Radio 1 (A List, Record of the week) is heart warming because again I know the battles and adversity he has faced. Ever being the fighter that he is, Wretch 32 has continued to keep pursuing his goals whilst being a father and a friend to most.
2010/2011 is going to be a phenomenal year for Jermaine and all I ask is that you take the time and help support him to GAIN the recognition that he truly deserves.
So please just take the time and help this young man achieve not only his dream but the dream's of many!
