Robyn Rihanna Fenty has come back even harder than her last music video (Hard feat Young Jeezy) with the eagerly anticipated next single of her Rated R Album 2009. The newly released 'Rude Boy' is the anthem to carry us ladies into 2010!! I have been playing this particular track and 'Rock Star' for a few months now and I must say the video does the track so much justice.
The emotion behind this tune just makes me appreciate the relationship & behaviors between a male & female (LMAO). The song has so much attitude and gets me out of my chair every time i hear it! The song is definitely a energizer.
The theme of the video is 'Bashment meets Fashion' Rihanna does not hold back by gyrating off her newly found figure, she looks sexy as hell but keeps it classy and seductive.
The red, gold and green knickers and leopard print boots are way to cute and the hole affect jumpsuit is scrumptious. Loving the sequin cap as it creates a relaxed vibe to her character. Loving her dress that she is wearing whilst rocking out on the drums- Shows a more fun rather than her most recent 'demonic, evil, dark appearance that we have recently associated Rihanna with. (I love the 'Dark side' look Rihanna 'so nah worry bout it seen' lol (jamaican accent)
My favorite bit of the entire video has to be the black and white zebra effect ending- She looks flipping amazing and her quirky quiff (Jedward) hair style just completes the look. Not forgetting the writing on her ear!!!
Overall I love the concept and it shoots down Beyonce's and Lady Gaga's 'Video Phone which i hate watching because the video does not have any relevance to the song in my personal opinion.
