The British fashion designer Alexander McQueen has been found dead at his London home at the age of 40. Alexander McQueen was and is one of my favorite fashion designers of all time. His fragrance is so fresh and smells like a beautiful dream. McQueens work has been showcased by the worlds greatest celebrities such as Rhianna, Victoria Beckham, Michelle Obama plus many more. His works have graced the worlds catwalks in Milan, Paris, London & New York. Recently he has collaborated with Puma to bring about a innovative sports inspired collection.
Famous for his Monochrome effect print clothes and weird unconventional shapes. A man of my heart I loved his quirkiness and his creativity within the fashion arena. Will be truly missed.
His death comes just days before the start of London fashion week and a month before he was to unveil his new collection at Paris fashion week.
His company, Alexander McQueen, issued a statement saying: "On behalf of Lee McQueen's family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand, has been found dead at his home.
Born in London in 1969 as the youngest of six children, McQueen left school at the age of 16 and was immediately offered an apprenticeship at the traditional Saville Row tailors Anderson and Shephard and then at neighbouring Gieves and Hawkes.
McQueen was a four-time winner of the British designer of the year award as well as the international designer of the year award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. He was awarded the CBE in 2003.
One of my favorite celebrities can always be seen under her new image rocking the latest McQueen clothing.

Yesterday it was confirmed he was found dead in his wardrobe- He died of asyphiation and hanging! He was suffering from grief after the recent death of his mother Jan 16th he went to bed for a week and friends employees tried to motivate him but it was all too much for him. It comes in a year after his friend who encourage him to launch committed suicide 1 year prior!
How ironic he hung him self in a wardrobe, I've always wanted a aq in mine. Loving fashion to. Death!
