Finally I  think we can say we have got the Destiny Child's Kelly Rowland back. I am loving the way her vocals blend on this track. The tune is beautiful and pulls on some own personal heart strings but back to my main point. Ms Rowland looks great, The stylist on this shoot captured Kelly's lady like qualities. Her hairstylist kept it simple yet effective. Ms Rowland has a beautiful complexion naturally and the make up is flawless.  The simplicity of each outfit is amazing.

The black and white hooded all in one has to be a head turner- It is funky and contradicts the red flowing strips in the back, almost makes it 3D

Rihanna is back with a Colourful video for 'Who's that Chick'?-  according to Rihanna's Official Twitter, This was filmed for a Dorito's advertisement but got leaked online. There is now an additional 'Nite Version- Which is exactly the same song but much more Sexy & darker themes, I.e Black clothing, Stilletto nails, Cob webs etc.

I love this campaign video because the Make -up is fantastic, vibrant, effective yet playful, The Pink lips and yellow wyeshadow with dark black liquid line is so captivating and volitile, Not everyone could pull off but Rihanna executes perfectly.

Rihannas stylist Mirianne never fails to surprise me. Her hair is funky and stylish. The costumes are beautfully constructed and fit the concept perfectly. I would love to be involved in a video like this as its like a giant doll house with costumes, bright lights and make up. This type of video really brings out the nitty gritty skill that a Make up artist and stylist poses. The close up camera shots identify EVERYTHING! 

One day soon I will be doing a video like this - Loads of bright colours, shapes and camera angles, Playful artist and a great director.

 Miss 'Keri Baby' Hilson comes back with another musical banger.....More for the uplifting vibes of Woman. The lyrics are serious but Keri with the help of the video director makes the subject appear more comical. Men beating on woman is not at all a laughing matter however the way it depicted in this video embodies exactly the attitude towards the situation. Unfortunatly it happens and is happening daily! Some woman put up with it and alot more but as Keri says 'We all have a breaking Point.....My love is Limited'






















I love the style of this video, its relaxed and colourful- The stylist has captivated the key current trends, Animal print (Hairdresser cape, Keri's Boots) The cropped & drapped tops, The fringing on the denim jacket, Bold striped tops The blonde highlights in Keris Hair. The opening shots of the bedroom is comfy, use of linen and cotton bedding, The colour of the bedroom is refreshing and cool.

 I have never done this before but it appears yesterday Kelis (US Artist) was seen wearing the leopard cardigan- I brought it 5 weeks ago 21.08.10 and wore it 2 weeks ago for a Photshoot that i was styling for Choicestore.co.uk, The highly anticipated cardigan is from H&M and its apart of there new  A/W10 collection- I brought whilst on a shopping trip in Lakeside with my girlies needed to update my wardrobe. I even have the matching Leopard print Lips & stripe vest to match.

So I just want to know who rocked it best?

 Kelis who paired it with some Leopared pumps, Black leggins and brown leather fanny pack. Blonde crew cut hair or .....
Simone (Third person sad i know)  with  D&G mens jeans, Black Patent Dr Martens and contrasting fashion against aids necklace and white vest *& Alexander McQueen scarf tied around my black & blond curls?

 One of my Business Inspirations has decided to write a Book entitled 'Decoded' Its due for release November 16th 2010 featuring an image of Andy Warhol’s “Rorschach”. This illustrated book will “decode” 36 songs from Jay-Z’s catalog giving a deep intimate look into some of the Brooklyn rapper’s most notorious lyrics and melodies.

i am looking forward to this book because i appreciate the craft behind song writing, The lyrics can depict a situation or tell a story. Not saying that every song we hear is about the person who is singing it NO WAY.... Song writers usually express there inner most thoughts and feelings but they feel that another person can express how they feel and make there work come alive. I loved a rose that grew from Concrete from Tupac Shakur so i am excited about this book from Jay Z.

With hopes of showcasing Hip Hop lyrics as poetry, with the release date of his first foray into the literary world looming closer, Jay-Z offered Billboard magazine an excerpt of his upcoming book, Decoded. Jay-Z offers his three-tiered reasoning for writing the memoir/lyric book, which shed further light on his choice for the book's artwork and his participation in a public reading at the New York Public Library.

New York Fashion Week

Its officially here the second Fashion week this year, Where all the Top brands will be showcasing there Spring/Summer 2011 preview collections. I so wish i was there (sighs, wipes away tear) Dont worry soon i will be sitting front row reporting back the next season Must have TREND ALERTS. Well Not to worry we have the Internet as our eyes so i am going to Fish out all that i think will be hot and give you my interpretation of What and how to rock it next season.

Victoria Beckham's Collection

So far I have seen Victoria Beckhams Collection which i think is Elegantly Chic. The use of materials and the sixities inspiration is apparent. All she needed was a young Twiggy and i think we would have a collection that could rival most. The simplicity of the designs is what i appreciate. The fabrics, Shapes and accessories do all the work. No need for excessive ellaborate designs. 

Victoria Beckham looks elegant and flawless in her simply black asymetrical dress that she also has in peach.

This dress would look nice to be worn to a special occassion, Pair with some Killer Louboutins - Peach snap colour and you have yourself a powerfit beyond a outfit.

My favirote piece from the collection has to be this white gown, Its fitting for a princess, Classy, defined but still a sense of Fashion chic but again not overplayed. (Also available in black)

Some of the more fashionistas will be familiar with her collabaoration with Hello Kitty (The Pink Dress with the cut out heart- Very cute and playful). The S/S11 collection that she previewed at NYFW is phenominal. I love the texture of clothing, the highwaisted trousers (image d) with intricate beading, The knitted maxi dress (img A), the use of industrial zips, leather. A true theme that echoed through her collection was the knotting technique- This is heavily used on the footwear and tops. 5 star collection.
