If Beyonce's wearing it then it has to be hot right? Well  I dont care what you think i absolutley love the clash of prints and bold stricking colours. This Jumpsuit was designed by Boxing Kitten. They have designed items for Beyonce, Solange and Rihanna plus many more. I had a peek at the Boxing Kitten website and I instantly was drawn to the beautiful fabrics that are master crafted to make such tremendous garments. The couture designs add edge because they have vibrant clashing prints. If there was a brand to embody on of the current key trends then Boxing Kitten have signed, sealed and delivered.

The opening motto behind the brand is:

Today marks 9 years that this musically talented young female was taken away from the music industry and world due to her private plane crashing in the Bahamas after filming her beautiful video 'Rock the Boat'.

I can remember this as though it  happened yesterday- The news rippled across the news waves. I remember crying my eyes out into my pillow, I always felt that Aaliyah's music and spirit surrounded me on a daily basis. Her music echos through my soul and experiences. Aaliyah was a Artist that I respected creatively and was a inspirational role model. Aaliyah's life was cut short but her music is still long lasting. I have a selection of tunes that I still play on my ipod daily:

The above songs had so much depth and meaning to me and my relationships that just hearing the tunes transforms my mind and body to a significant person and chapter in my life....... (Deep Breath, tear, wipe away and start again)

One thing I can take from Aaliyah and her timeless music is that Style, Class and personality live beyond you as a Individual. The perfect foundation of a reputation!! Also as she was taken from  us in a untimely death - We must all live as though it was our last day on Earth and love like you have never been hurt before.

Aaliyah was romantically linked to R.Kelly which caused a bit of controversy due to the age difference - However like she said 'Age ain't nothin but a number'. Before her demise she was also romantically linked to (rumoured to marry) the Rocawear Guru Dame Dash


Aaliyah's death raises questions in my mind to date - Would Beyonce and Alicia Keys be as successful had this young woman not met her untimely demise?

Don't get me wrong I love and  respect both Artist 100% - however Aaliyah was successful in baggy jeans and belly tops, her image was boyish but suave and sexy when needed. Signed by the age of 12 to Jive records, by the age of 22 Aaliyah already had 3 Platinum selling albums worked with top producers Missy Elliot and Timberland, Started a acting career by securing a lead role in Romeo Must Die alongside DMX and Jet Li and also starred in Queen of the Dammed.

The greatness behind VA-G brand is that they have brand clarity, I woke closely with the VA-G team and feel its necessary to push such a great European brand. I deviated from saying UK because these guys have ensured they have locked down the UK market but are striving to dominate and become a household brand within the EU.  There designs are fresh, innovative, modern and they captivate the customers fashion eye.

Recently I was involved in there photo shoot doing the models Make up for the new Look book shots- Perks of being a great stylist I get to see the designs before you all (heheheheheh mutley laugh), yes they do value my opinion and Fashion now how and ask for my honest critique. My favorite piece of the collection which i will boast and say i owned before you ALL is the Red Lip Collection. The off the cut shoulder tee fitted perfect and i rocked the shit out of it whilst on a recent holiday. I paired it up with a pair of sequin hot pants, Ankle wedge shoes and my over sized box black glasses, hair pined up with full fringe created by my hair stylist (yes she comes everywhere I go - Shout out to Keira Anderson) Reason i put the look together was to not take away from the design, The red lips and Grace Jones inspired image is more than enough to create a reaction. Ladies understand you can under dress a T-shirt or you can dress it up depending on the occasion.

Whilst at Griminal's Supa Dupa video shoot the guys brought down some of there key essential unreleased garments. I was blown away as I know the thought and effort is reflected in the quality of the product.

Trade fashion event Pure London has joined forces with French trade show Who's Next and Première Classe to host a buying event in Dubai. The Middle East Fashion Days will take place October 19-21 and Pure London will have a dedicated section for its exhibitors, Pure Selection, which will give brands the opportunity to meet, network and do business with buyers and consumers across the Middle East. Brands which have expressed interest to show include Zandra Rhodes, Almost Famous and Andrew Majtenyi.
