I could only open this the best way i could with the Lyrics that resonate in my heart - This song has to be one of my favorites from the Loud album as it has so much heart and the traditional reggae vibe just seals the deal. Rihanna has now 'shot' the visual to the eagerly anticipated 'Man Down' video. Rihanna does not fail by opening the video with her shooting a man down, Then taking the story backwards to help illustrate why she did what she did.

The theme of this video is left open to interpretation and you can only assume in this video Rihanna is a rape victim and this has resulted in her taking a mans life. Rihanna goes out for a night out and dances with a local guy and maybe it could be construed that she 'led him on' (That's the defence in court). My point being regardless of a female wearing provocative clothing or dancing in a sexy way NO IS NO!!

Personally speaking any female who has been a victim of Rape or Domestic Violence could relate to this song as it makes you wonder how from leading a normal life you then carry out such a extreme act which is 1000% out of character. But as Keri Hilson nicely put it 'Every women has a breaking point yall'.

'Check me out....Im the stylist...Bitch' OK I love to say that on occasion when i get given Limited edition items  but Robert Verdi has taken it to another level, he has shut me down. Robert Verdi picked up the phone and said in a  'Hey Van, I am tidying out my closet and came across these ol' scarves and I want you to do something special - I  NO throw way coz they are Vin...tagggge, u hear me Van...Vin...tagggge. Make it quick, fast and bootiful'!

Van answered the call and have produced the most artistic collection of Vans just  for Robert Verdi.
The collection may not ever come to fruition and we may never get a chance to purchase such 'Artistic' footwear but we can still all appreciate the collaboration. This is what i like to describe as the most 'Ecclectic' casual Footwear designs I have seen.

After a very busy week i was taken out for dinner last night to the lovely Gaucho's were i sipped on a beautiful Passion fruit cocktail made by the greatest waiter ever (Ben). I ordered the 400g beef with sweet potatoe chips and peppercorn sauce (Licks lips)

Getting Fit just got cool!!!

Let's Move campaign

Have you got young children or are you a individual who needs to get in shape but don't have time to get to the gym? If so then the powerhouse that is Beyonce has come to your aid. Not mine because I enjoy going to the gym its apart of my lifestyle (Looking at men working out, oh yes feel the burn). I have a distant Personal Trainer called Becky who is amazing, she has put together a training plan that has helped me Tone, Define and improve my overall fitness levels.

Painful but worth it!!

Beyonce has joined forces with NAB Education Foundation which is aimed to help get young people back into Fitness. Now we have all attempted to do Beyonces moves from the Booty shakes to the single ladies dance that swept the nation. In this latest viral we see Beyonce doing signature dance moves, high energetic gyrating as usual in some highwaisted shorts, 80's retro off the shoulder jumper, Socks and HIGH HEELS......Yup you read right HIGH HEELS. I love it, so if you see me at the gym on the tredmill please don't laugh just embrace my sexy style and move on!

Michelle Obama is spearing the Campaign ahead and getting involved in promoting physical activity and healthy eating - She is the greatest First Lady EVER!!!

Ok well have a look at the video and get involved with your friends and family. On a serious note Obesity is taking over and effecting our young Kings and Queens - Our world needs to get HEALTY!!!





Key Essential Items for your workout

• Bottle of Water- Constant rehydration is important, Take regular sips!
• Towel to place on equipment (Some people really leave wet patches YUCK)
• A great motivational playlist on your IPOD- High energetic music is the best
• Appropriate Footwear and Clothing ( T-shirt, Vest, Shorts, Trainers- Ladies a SPORTS BRA)
• Set out a realistic goal and every session Go Harder, Go Faster

 
If you intend on doing Free weights please make sure you don't over do it! Get a friend to 'Spot' you and do your session in sets.
