Have you got young children or are you a individual who needs to get in shape but don't have time to get to the gym? If so then the powerhouse that is Beyonce has come to your aid. Not mine because I enjoy going to the gym its apart of my lifestyle (Looking at men working out, oh yes feel the burn). I have a distant Personal Trainer called Becky who is amazing, she has put together a training plan that has helped me Tone, Define and improve my overall fitness levels.

Painful but worth it!!

Beyonce has joined forces with NAB Education Foundation which is aimed to help get young people back into Fitness. Now we have all attempted to do Beyonces moves from the Booty shakes to the single ladies dance that swept the nation. In this latest viral we see Beyonce doing signature dance moves, high energetic gyrating as usual in some highwaisted shorts, 80's retro off the shoulder jumper, Socks and HIGH HEELS......Yup you read right HIGH HEELS. I love it, so if you see me at the gym on the tredmill please don't laugh just embrace my sexy style and move on!

Michelle Obama is spearing the Campaign ahead and getting involved in promoting physical activity and healthy eating - She is the greatest First Lady EVER!!!

Ok well have a look at the video and get involved with your friends and family. On a serious note Obesity is taking over and effecting our young Kings and Queens - Our world needs to get HEALTY!!!





Key Essential Items for your workout

• Bottle of Water- Constant rehydration is important, Take regular sips!
• Towel to place on equipment (Some people really leave wet patches YUCK)
• A great motivational playlist on your IPOD- High energetic music is the best
• Appropriate Footwear and Clothing ( T-shirt, Vest, Shorts, Trainers- Ladies a SPORTS BRA)
• Set out a realistic goal and every session Go Harder, Go Faster

 
If you intend on doing Free weights please make sure you don't over do it! Get a friend to 'Spot' you and do your session in sets.

SS11 Male Trends

It’s that time of year and the clocks have been put forward due to ‘British Summer time’ the time sponsored by Acurus will be …..SUNSHINE TIME’

As women our fashion trends seem to change more frequently than men’s, One week its polka dots, next week it’s Vintage Romance and then bring on the vivid Tribal prints. It is a challenge keeping up with the ever changing political policies let alone keeping abreast of ever changing Fashion trends.

Monkey Business

 

In spite of this women adapt there style according to Social demographics, Body Shape, weather and male opinion.   There is an old West Indian proverb ‘Monkey See, Monkey Do’. The understanding of this is ‘Follow Fashion’, a monkey only copies and does not understand what it is doing. Same rules apply in the fashion arena especially with 'SOME' women.

Advice alert: Not everything on the catwalk is designed to be worn it’s called ‘Couture’ it’s a concept idea that has been designed and constructed to showcase the designers signature accents I.E Burberry Iconic Check, Channel Black & White, Vivienne Westwood Structured Drapery. What you see on the catwalk is an ‘extreme’ and ideas which eventually will be developed into ‘Ready to Wear’ garments.

Following on from the Jamaican proverb,  I have discovered upon my fashion journey that Male trends last a lot longer than women’s and seem to be based on preference – majority of males tend to stick to one particular style that suits them i.e if they love Harem Jeans with workman boots they will create a capsule wardrobe based around these key pieces.

Chris Brown F.A.M.E Album

Yesterday was the official release of Chris Brown's Album F.A.M.E cleverly entitled Forgive All My Enemies

Fave Tracks:

1. No Bullshit- Love the slow vibe & lyrical content
2. She ain't you- personal reasons we can all relate to this song and Chris reveals his soul
3. Champion- This song is such a revelation and its got my boy Chipmunk on there too!
I give the album 10/10

Chris Brown

This album in my opinion is musically amazing, The content is full of various styles of music ranging from party to my fave slow jams. I especially love the album cover as it is Chris Brown revealing his soul in one image. There is many dimension's to this young artist. The media (enemies) have taken us on a path showing the rise and fall of Mr Brown. Yeah 2 years ago he made an error in judgement and i am sure most agree that all should be forgiven for his indiscretions. Some are hell bent on continuing to pursue the negative.

This world that we live in is so Judgemental everyone has something to say and always focusing on the negative- Why not turn over a new leaf and celebrate the achievements of others and promote the fact that a individual like Chris Brown has paid his debt and now he is focusing on his craft.

If Rihanna can forgive him- Regardless of what the media say Rihanna still and will always LOVE Chris Brown and the only turmoil she faces is the fact that if she gets back with Mr Brown it could damage her career. In my opinion it would not affect her Career as she too is just a young female and even though she is a pop Icon some would stay she still has to deal with emotions and Life's trials and; tribulations just like the rest of us!

Note: One thing you can't fake in this world is TRUE LOVE- They truely did love each other.

Chris Brown has since moved forward and found a new love interest with a equally as beautiful young lady Karrueche Tran - I wish him all the happiness that he deserves.

50 Cent Anorexic......'Things Fall Apart'

take your mind back a few months, Do you remeber the images that were going away that Curtis Jackson ''50 Cent' was on drugs and had lost alot of weight due to stress and DRUGS!!!! Yeah well i didnt hear that rumor neither lol

It has become clear that the purpose of his so called Tattoo removal and dramatic weight loss was for a new role in the movie 'Things Fall Apart''
