New York Fashion Week

Its officially here the second Fashion week this year, Where all the Top brands will be showcasing there Spring/Summer 2011 preview collections. I so wish i was there (sighs, wipes away tear) Dont worry soon i will be sitting front row reporting back the next season Must have TREND ALERTS. Well Not to worry we have the Internet as our eyes so i am going to Fish out all that i think will be hot and give you my interpretation of What and how to rock it next season.

Victoria Beckham's Collection

So far I have seen Victoria Beckhams Collection which i think is Elegantly Chic. The use of materials and the sixities inspiration is apparent. All she needed was a young Twiggy and i think we would have a collection that could rival most. The simplicity of the designs is what i appreciate. The fabrics, Shapes and accessories do all the work. No need for excessive ellaborate designs. 

Victoria Beckham looks elegant and flawless in her simply black asymetrical dress that she also has in peach.

This dress would look nice to be worn to a special occassion, Pair with some Killer Louboutins - Peach snap colour and you have yourself a powerfit beyond a outfit.

My favirote piece from the collection has to be this white gown, Its fitting for a princess, Classy, defined but still a sense of Fashion chic but again not overplayed. (Also available in black)

Cathereine Malandrino's Collection

Some of the more fashionistas will be familiar with her collabaoration with Hello Kitty (The Pink Dress with the cut out heart- Very cute and playful). The S/S11 collection that she previewed at NYFW is phenominal. I love the texture of clothing, the highwaisted trousers (image d) with intricate beading, The knitted maxi dress (img A), the use of industrial zips, leather. A true theme that echoed through her collection was the knotting technique- This is heavily used on the footwear and tops. 5 star collection.

Lanvin Collabs with H&M NOV23rd 2010

It’s Official! Lanvin for H&M… Eeeek!

My best friend happens to work for H&M and she told me that there was a Top Secret Collab happening- I mentioned it on my Twitter after extensive research. I am happy to confirm along with other reputable sources (Snigger's into hands) that Lanvin with be the next Fashion Collab with high street retailer H&M. So far they have had Stella McCartney, Madonna, Kylie, Matthew Williamson and Jimmy Choo! 
For those that are not familiar with Lanvin all i can say is the bags and coats are beautifully crafted, Alot of Aztec shapes used on there handbags. I am sure they will bring there style and flair to the High street retailer. 

So my H&M best friend- You know who you are can you put everything in a size 10 aside for me please!!! Thank you

'We first heard rumours about this designer/high street dream collaboration earlier in the week and this morning, to our delight, it was finally confirmed. Designed by Lanvin artistic director Alber Elbaz and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, the highly anticipated collection will drop into stores on Tuesday 23 November, with a special unveiling online taking place on the 2 November. Talking about the collaboration. H&M’S creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch described it as, ‘Very much a Lanvin collection, using their cut and tailoring, with lots of focus on form and details for both women and men.’ We’re really gonna have to sharpen those elbows, every H&M designer hook-up to date has been a complete sell out'- Taken from Look.co.uk

Thema is one of my good friends and to be apart of this day and celebrate her 25th will be special  as Thema and her family are ALWAYS there  for me. They know i work 24/7 but they call me to see i am getting some sleep, eating properly or generally got a smile on my face. Thema actually puts up with me more than most and constantly supports my ideas and creative outbursts.
Those that know Tee will know that her heart is gigantic and she does without 'want on a daily basis. This female is a sparkle in my stars and she is most probably reading this now and CRYING (she is way to emotional lol) But she needs to appreciate her beauty and embrace the LOVE that I have for her as a friend. My Style fascination of 2010- Amber Rose

Amber Rose Age 27, Girlfriend of Mr Kanye West

This lady has just blown me away with her uniqueness, Having Kanye west as your Music mogul, Fashion Guru boo can only help to secure you the top spot in this Industry. Amber Rose was signed to Ford Models and has appeared in numerous Fashion Campaigns including Louis Vuitton. Mainly recognised for being Kanye's Girlfriend there I think we can expect to see alot more from this Sexy lady (Maybe her own line of sunglasses????)

I am personally fascinated by her effortless beauty and style- She has her hair cut low, usually platinum blond and is naturally curvaceous (her derriere is perfect) I am on currently undergoing what I call Amber Rose workout!- She celebrates in all her interviews about being body confident. This message is important as we as females are never happy with what we have and the media portrays that we should look a certain way. Well females like Amber, Alicia Keys and Beyonce give me the confidence to be curvaceous and embrace my naturally inherited cultural figure and WORK IT!!!

Amber Rose also has a thing for Sunglasses like me (Big Smile)- some may say I have a lady crush on her but NO I just admire her sense of style and eccentric outfits. A lady after my own heart!

I think Why don't you love me has to be one of my fave Beyonce music video's, its been premiering on our screens for about 2 months now, Officially released on 29.08.10.I  am absolutely loving the 50's inspired style. My favorite has to be the Cropped brasier tops, Curlers in the hair and high waisted knickers. I recently went out sporting a similar top whilst on holiday but added a rock chic vibe to add my own quirkiness to it!
